My go to location for cigars. I can't say enough good things about this place. First of all, John is the most knowledgeable guy I know. Every time I visit, he's quick to answer any questions or give recommendations. I learn something new every visit. He's never steered me wrong with any recommendations, he's always spot on. The selection here is fantastic and the lounge area is always clean and comfortable. Definitely the best place to shop for cigars in the coal region.

My mistake for not catching the guys name. But was super friendly and helpful without bombarding personal space. Lets you look around at your own pace. Will be back for sure.

The Cigar Box has a great cigar selection, a very clean store, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a very satisfying rewards system. This is easily one of the best tobacco shops I have been to and the only one I shop at.

Grew up in Shamokin , but haven't lived here for a long time. Brother in law turned me onto this place last year when we were in and it is a hidden gem in the coal region! Picked up a few cigars last night and met and talked to John for about 20 minutes. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I told him my son and I have different tastes and without missing a beat , proceeded to give me multiple options for each taste. I now make it a point to go here every time we come in to visit , check them out , you will not be disappointed! Great selection and they even have a lounge in the back to enjoy your purchase immediately ;) !

Great cigar shop truly knowledgeable staff 5 stars love the lounge I’m there 3-4 times a week
