Love my 7-11 on Kensington Ave!! Nice family that owns it and runs it. Always a pleasure to go in there. They are nice to everyone that goes in their store. Great selection and reasonably priced as well. Still my favorite slurpee spot!!

Today, I came to the realization that some cultures believe they have an advantage over other minorities. My son was racially profiled by an establishment solely based on his appearance. On the night he was there, some individuals were breaking into cars nearby. When my son pulled up to make a purchase, his car was stolen by the actual thieves. When the police arrived, the worker never showed the surveillance footage to determine if my son was involved. All those glowing reviews about the place seem to be misleading! The establishment needs to be restructured, and all employees should undergo ethics training.

The cashiers that work here are some of the kindest around! They know what kind of cigarettes I smoke and that makes me feel the neighborhood vibe that's been missing in Philly since the early 2000's. The big older bossy guy I'm certain had something to do with or lied about the theft of my Iphone and the reason I stopped going here. If the friendly cashiers could take over it would be the best convenient store in the city. Keep on being kind!!!! It's appreciated even if your boss doesn't show it!

While the service isn't exceptional, or the hot prepared food the freshest, they're at least always open and have the great variety of convenient store products one would hope for.
