This place is disgusting . I was told to try galaxy out. 1st time visiting this bar and will be my last time. They are serving rat meat making it look like chicken. I didn’t want to believe it, but when they run out of chicken, this is what they’re serving. Be careful eating from this restaurant. Also it was hot inside there. No air conditioning. It smelled a lil like human feces. How are they even still opened after this poor young lady lost her life. I’m glad Philadelphia is becoming Gentrified. We need to do better as a city and build better and healthier eateries.

The music was great the dj kept me dancing. The bar maids were amazing the drinks were delicious. The food was a big disappointment. It was hot but not good at all. Chicken strip had so much breading on it I had to take some off. They were skimpy with the sauces. The shrimp was over cooked and the fries were too salty.

This place has some boom AF food. But.... It's so darn tight. I wish it was larger. The crowd can be loud be it's a hang out and eat kinda spot that just so happens to have great food, and drinks. I'd come back just for the food no matter how long the wait is. And yes you will wait because it's just that darn good. The did have a armed guard at the front door for safety reasons I guess. It's very loud so you'll have to speak loudly when ordering, the staff are ok once you realize they can't hear you because it's loud in the place. Love the food will return.

I am not one to give one star.....but this time I have to!!!... I walked in ready to enjoy my people in my neighborhood....West Philadelphia....I go and get $60 and prepared to drink and eat.... go to the bar, no service for almost 10 minutes of standing there... and I am the Prince of the city....haha Maybe she didn't know, finally she acknowledges me standing there... So I order a corona....No CORONA!! What the Hhhhh $#@$%$... I was excited about going to galaxy west... it's in my hood... it was going to be my place... Wow... disappointed....they get a second chance... but for now... no real recommendations....

Every time I go into Galaxy West is like an event,from just ordering one of their signature meals to a signature Drink,which is not your typical food and drink but at a comfortable price,the atmosphere is synonymous what you get downtown in some cases better,security is always on hand making sure your visit is a memorable one,I’ve been around this area for over 20 years and a business owner for over 15 years and when asked by new clients and tourists ,”where can we go get something good to eat and drink from “?we say ,”Galaxy West hands down “knowing they’ll come back bragging about their experience.if you’re looking for good vibes then Galaxy West is the place to be even on a typical day.Bring a friend tell a friend or ask around but remember good vibes only. Thanks Galaxy West for giving us something not as typical but just as extravagant in our own Neighborhood.
