The vibes here are immaculate! We spent around two hours at Hokah, and it was our first time trying hookah. Max (the owner) did an amazing job explaining how everything works and recommending a great first hookah for us. It was super light, the flavor was fantastic, and you can really tell they do their blends in-house. We also ordered the Turkish tea, which was made fresh and paired perfectly with the hookah. Max is incredibly friendly, and we had such a great conversation throughout our visit. This is a much-needed third space in Pittsburgh. I’m definitely coming back—likely with my laptop—because it’s so easy to spend time here. Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really enjoyed this place! The atmosphere is super chill and relaxing, and the whole setup makes it a great spot to hang out and enjoy a hookah. Max was awesome, super friendly and really knowledgeable about hookah. He took the time to explain the different flavors and helped us pick a great combination. He also gave us some helpful tips on hookah equipment, good-quality hookahs, and where to find good stuff online. Great atmosphere, quality hookah, and excellent service. We had a really good time and will definitely be back. Thanks to Max for taking such good care of us!

This place was great. I dont know where to start. The hookah was so good 10/10 tasted great. Best hookah I've ever had. The mocktails we amazing as well. They tasted wonderful and were very refreshing. The environment is nice too its nice to hang out and chill with your friends or even to just come by yourself. The staff that helped us was Max he was very nice, charismatic, funny, and great to talk to with awesome stories. Crazy lore drop. Had an amazing time definitely coming back!

I had such an amazing time here. This is the third space Pittsburgh has been needing. There were people working, chatting with others, on dates, relaxing on their own. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. It was my first real hookah experience and they made everything go so smoothly even though I had no idea what to expect. The green tea was outstanding and the orange mocktail will definitely have me coming back!

Hokah is easily one of the best hookah spots around. The staff are amazing; super friendly, attentive, and they genuinely engage with everyone, which makes the whole experience feel personal and fun. The mocktails are delicious and pair perfectly with whatever drink you decide to bring since it’s BYOB (major plus!). The patio is cute and inviting, perfect for warm nights, and the inside is just as cozy and comfortable. Whether you’re hanging with friends, on a date, or just chilling solo, Hokah has the perfect atmosphere. It’s one of those places that just feels right the moment you walk in. Definitely my new go-to spot!
