🚩 AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS – WORST GAS 🚩 STATION/SMOKE SHOP EVER – 1 STAR I usually don’t write reviews, but after my recent experience at 5th Street Smoke Shop/Gas Station, I have to warn everyone. Do NOT go here. The cheap gas prices are cheap for a reason — it’s absolute garbage. I filled up my tank with their “bargain” gas and within a few miles my car started sputtering, losing power, and the check engine light came on. I took it to a mechanic who found debris and contamination in the fuel system. The repairs ended up costing me $300. So much for “cheap” gas — it definitely wasn’t cheap at all in the end. Low-quality fuel that damages your engine. Don’t get fooled by the low prices! The store itself is disgusting. Terrible cleaning habits everywhere — floors sticky and dirty, shelves dusty, and the machines are rarely cleaned after heavy use, leaving them grimy and gross to touch. Zero effort to keep the place presentable. It feels neglected and filthy the second you walk in. But the customer service is what really takes the cake. The staff are incredibly rude and hostile. One employee started yelling at a customer in front of me over a simple question about a vape product, and things escalated quickly to threatening violence. It was completely uncalled for and made everyone in the store uncomfortable. No professionalism whatsoever — just aggression and attitude. Overall, rude staff, dirty environment, grimy machines, and dangerous low-quality gas. This place is a hard pass. Save your money, your car, and your peace of mind — go literally anywhere else in Reading. I’ll never be back and I suggest you don’t even try it once for your wallets sake.

bought a foger. opened it IN THE PARKING LOT, and it was leaking in the original wrapper, unused. i went in and asked to exchange it and they said no “i’m not the one who opened it”. i was just in not even 2 mins before buying it. opened it outside went in and was a complete jerkoff about it. seriously rather spend $5 more at an actual vape shop who is generous about replacing a faulty vape not caused by me. never going again and i don’t recommend to anyone.

As myself & 2 other people walked into the store the cashier was rudely yelling the price at a customer. When we got to the register he mumbled the price and was asked to repeat himself, which he did - very rudely. When asked if that’s how he speaks to customers he said “You talk too much” & something along the lines of you need to keep your mouth shut. The first customer was black as well so I’m not sure if he’s a horrible clerk or just racist. We left without the sodas we placed on the counter & wont be returning. Terrible customer service.

The homie with the hat always gets me right. Ifykyk 10/10 customer service, very nice staff and clean area

This stations on GasBuddy and Google state that their regular gas is $3.05/gal for regular. It is actually $3.19/gal. As of 08/28/2025. So false advertisement.
