I'm a local resident who just recently became aware of Hustle's existence and convienient location on my commute to and from work. I stopped in looking for a popular item that may become unavailable nationwide very soon. The product is widely depended on by many for its pain relief and calming attributes. I regularly patronize several other almost identical stores(size and inventory) that are a little bit further drive, and to this day - are selling the same product at regular retail or heavily discounted price point, despite the limited supply and impending permanent unavailability of the product. Unfortunately, the Hustle too had a limited supply of the product in stock, but had marked it up almost 50% above residential retail store and online prices, in contrast to the discounts I've been receiving at other similar nearby shops for same exact product with same limited inventory. The associates working even quoted different prices for the product during the point of sale, as if they were willing and able to negotiate the price of the product based on factors other than the customary repeat customer discounts and rewards programs. Bottom line - I understand business, supply and demand, etc, however, I left feeling taken advantage of and caught up in a profiteering situation. While there, I explained my concern and was told to come back during the day for a "better deal from the owner." It's not my intention to hurt the business with low star rating or speak poorly of the service I received, but rather bring situational awareness to ownership and other patrons, as I'm a potential regular customer who had an unfortunate and negative first experience/impression during a personal time of despair.
They sold me a broken device from the only brand that I would purchase. I wanted to exchange for another(not even asking for refund). My device was not working after I purchased it and the dude at the door wanted me to come back when the original person who sold it to me would be there. He told me that me having a work schedule and purchasing a broken product from their store was “my issue” and “that sounds like your problem” I think the bigger problem is the way your store runs Edit: When I came back as the response stated, I got cursed out to leave the store.
I have to say i never walked to this store and didn't find what i needed they keep restocking their products consistently.
Charged me 40$ for geekbar. The same one you can get at the VGO gas station 2-30$. Crazy over charging
