I purchased a hookaklit from this establishment earlier today for someone else. When they tried it, it didn’t work. I was not given a receipt, so I went back to the store and showed my transaction on my bank statement. The employee there was nice and called his manager. The manager asked to speak to me and says it’s store policy for the customer to try before they leave. I was unaware and the employee I purchased it from did not state that. I asked where that store policy was posted and I was told it WAS posted over a year ago when the store opened and I was the only customer that complained that it didn’t work. I was also told that they can’t do anything about it and that I should come back on the morning and have the employee buy me another one since it “costs too much money for them and they don’t even make money off of the product.” The manager was talking over me the whole time and just said the employee shouldn’t have done that and proceeded to reference this policy that was nowhere to be found. I left because that is extremely unprofessional.
