My review is for a specific store employee, her name is Amanda. She works at the DGStore on Bluff City Highway . I was in there this morning 5/12/26 around 10 a.m. and I was in a tremendous hurry . This lady went above and beyond in customer service! I can't find a way to contact a General Manager or anyone else in the hierarchy of DG , but if I could I would let them know she deserves a promotion, pay raise and recognition for being professional, helpful and extremely efficient and kind . When I shop DG again it will be because of this lady . Great job !

Employee refused to get stuff off the top shelf for me because she said she didn't have time because her shift ended soon. Said I could wait 30 minutes for the next Employee to come in and maybe they could help me. Also said her manager wouldn't allow her to help me. Manager wasn't there. I'm only 5 foot tall. I'll NEVER recommend or got to the store right off 19e ever again.

Went in Friday to do a little shopping (I never travel this far out ) but wanted to see if they had any brown dot left but the gentleman working was super nice and very helpful when looking for a cigar for my father in law. The store was in great shape very clean I was impressed with the visit management should be proud : )

This is one of the smaller Dollar General stores in the area. It's in a great location that is central to everything. Their stock is a bit small and the parking lot could be more accessible. However the place is clean and the employees are very friendly and extremely helpful. The prices are always good as well

The associates are not friendly, but that's not my biggest issue with this place. The issue at its core, is the way the employees are being treated. The abuse of the employees has gotten so bad, that the turnover rate is unbelievably high.
I don't blame the employees for how they behave. It is not their fault. If they were treated the way they deserve to be treated, then the experience for everyone would be a lot better.
If the people in charge weren't soulless, Dollar General would be a better place.
