Tuesday evening after I got off work my mom texted me and told me to get a 9-volt battery and I came to check and see what kind of 9-volt batteries there is. I texted my mom and told her what kind of 9-volt batteries they have and I asked her if any of those are fine and I was waiting for her to text me back and let me know and there was a young lady that came to me and was smiling and sounding rude because I was staring at the batteries too long and I told her it's because I'm looking at the 9-volt batteries and I was waiting for my mom to let me know what kind of 9-volt batteries we get and she understood and finally my mom texted me back and said anything is fine. Just get one. I went to pay for it. We needed a 9-volt battery for the smoke alarm in my bedroom downstairs. If that young lady that works there starts being rude to me and other customers then she will get fired.

There are many Dollar General’s in Rhea county & this one I just choose not to go to. If I could give no stars, I would. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted rudely by an employee that snapped at me saying “ NO BAGS ALLOWED!!” She was referring to my purse… OK how in the world is anybody supposed to know that if it’s not posted? So lady, your rudeness was not needed & you’re lucky I didn’t snap back at you!
I hate going here anymore. I have asked them time and time again why was I being followed around the store and they say "We ain't following you." Just to go in the office and watch the cameras. I've never stolen anything from that store. And most of the time spend 40+ dollars there everytime I go. They have no reason to follow me around like I'm a thief.
I love going here always find something to buy. I mostly buy dog treats and food because my kids are grown and I have 5 dogs. Love my fur babies.
A variety store like a five and dime store from years ago. Has a little of everything. When you are greeted at the door they will direct you to what you need or will tell you they don't carry it and waste your time looking.
