Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. I came i to Discount Tobacco because I was in need of one or two cans of nicotine pouches, weening myself off of them. I dont know if it was the owner, manager, or just a staff member found me some promotional pouches that were FREE. I am really very grateful. I’ve never had someone in a tobacco store or grocery store offer me something I needed right then and there for a fair price, let alone $0. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Before I write a review I like to read the other reviews and see what other people have to say. Sometimes I think that's a mistake as it may reflect on my own opinion, but I asked myself after reading these reviews what it could possibly matter? The first few reviews are outrageous. People's opinions and experiences are as individual as atoms. Their rights and freedoms are as lone to them as the breath they take. Why should it be required for a tobacco outlet to provide a public restroom? "IT'S NOT"! It's a service, not a requirement. Just so happens it's not a service they provide. Personally I don't smoke cigarettes or vapes, but my wife smokes almost 2 cartons of cigarettes per month. The price I pay at DTO for the brand she smokes is less than half of what I can get them for at a major grocery store that I'd have to drive 22 miles to and 22 miles from. My daughter vapes. Their vapes are competitively priced or at times up to $5 cheaper than other places. Perhaps it's because I'm a regular. Perhaps it's because I go in with a positive attitude. Maybe it's because I don't go in at closing time, but I've never had a problem with any of the people that work there. They are extremely polite and tolerant to my lack of knowledge. I'm a jokester by nature and as soon as I come through the door...so are they. They learned how to treat me in a very short time. That is not only good salesmanship, but excellent customer service. 👏 I am a pipe smoker and have been for 42 years. I don't see me taking up cigarettes because of DTO, but if they would sell a few pipe tobaccos it would keep me from having to drive so far. I do understand how it wouldn't be profitable for them, however.

The daytime manager lacks customer service etiquette. I was in the store on Aug 21, 2019 and saw a cool cigarette case with a built in, rechargeable lighter. There were about 7 cases in the display that had two big stickers showing the price as $5.99. I also purchased cigarettes and filters. After my transaction was completed I noticed the cigarette case had rang up $9.99. I tell the lady working, who is the manager, that the display shows they're $5.99. I thought she was going to refund me the difference, instead she gives me a total refund, takes back the case, and says that, "when they brought in the new display they didn't change the price." Not my fault! I've worked retail, if the price displayed is wrong that is not the fault of the customer. She claimed she couldn't, "change the price", but seeing as she's the manager I highly doubt that. Not to mention, her attitude is poor and unhelpful. I won't be back and I was becoming a frequent customer.

I stopped shopping here when an employee locked the doors in my face 8 minutes before scheduled closing time. Returned during the day to inform long time employees that had always treated us well but the place wasn't that great to start with. Poor selection of RYO supplies that are overpriced. I also learned employees are locked into minimum wage for the duration of their employment unless they take a management position and they will not hire men. No excuse for this kind of business practice. Horrible location, ridiculous parking situation, high prices on everything except beer and cigarettes. Their are at least a dozen better smoke shops less than 2 or 3 miles away with at least 2 that go out of their way to make sure we are happy. I would recommend looking further.

Spend my share in their store every week.messed up one time and bought the wrong thing.they refused to give money back nor would they let me exchange.I never received a receipt to begin with.never thought I needed one anyways just for some smokes.lady was rude as well.I don't mind driving an extra 2 miles with better parking from now on and giving the Indian lady my money who is really nice to me and the other paying customers.
