Had a great Hefeweizen and enjoyed checking out their selection of pipe tobacco. Not a massive selection but solid and they have a Balkan Blend and they're my favorite daily smoke so that made me happy.

A welcoming and fun spot for anyone visiting/living in the Nashville area. Great selection of cigars, beers and whiskeys. Tons of seating and atmosphere, here. The staff has always been helpful and personable. The guy with the curly grey hair working today was extra helpful and down to earth. Anytime I’m in town, I try my best to stop by the Abbey.

Super comfortable hang out spot with a great cigar selection, great selection of beer and liquor, and beautiful Christian art decorating the walls. There are several rooms that offer different vibes. Parking is a bummer but there is an Aldi across the street with plenty of it.

05/23/2026. Time Stamp 12:45pm I had a disappointing experience at Smokers Abby today. When I walked in, there was no employee at the front counter. I brought a cigar that I had previously purchased from Smokers Abby and still had it in the original plastic zip-lock bag they provided at the time of purchase. I took the cigar out and walked over to the cutter/lighter station. An employee came from the back and immediately asked, “Oh hey, did you grab that from in here?” I replied, “No, this is mine,” and even pulled the original Smokers Abby bag out of the trash to show where it came from. He then told me, “You can’t just come in here and smoke your own cigars. You gotta buy something in here.” At that point, I was debating whether to just leave, but since I was already there, I decided to purchase a drink so I could stay. I also explained that I had originally bought the cigar from their shop. His response was simply, “Oh.” If Smokers Abby requires customers to make a purchase every time they want to smoke in the lounge, that’s fine—but there should be a clearly visible sign stating that policy. I’ve visited multiple times before with cigars purchased from this shop and have never been treated this way. The interaction felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Long-time customers shouldn’t be made to feel like they’re doing something wrong before anyone even asks a few questions. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider coming back, especially during the day when that particular employee is working.

Absolutely LOVED this place. First off, great selection of sticks and the tobacconist was great with recommendations. I was in town for business and needed to find somewhere to kick back and have a smoke. The place has charm and feels like a East Side Milwaukee bar... just like home. People were great and they had a solid/friendly crowd for a Wednesday night. Good people, good sticks, good environment. #MustGo.
