As a local who lives just around the corner, I want to like Pops, but the reality of the experience makes it impossible to ignore the glaring issues. While it serves as a convenient stop for a quick bag of chips, that is where the benefits end. The service is fundamentally unprofessional, you encounter staff who are clearly miserable, indifferent to the menu, and openly hostile including one employee who consistently makes faces at customers and appears utterly incompetent at handling basic orders. The pricing, however, is the most offensive part of the business. Charging $7 to $8 for ice cream is predatory and entirely unjustified for a standard drive-thru experience. When you factor in the persistent rumors that the chicken is not nearly as fresh as the marketing suggests, the value proposition collapses entirely. With service hovering at a 4/10 and pricing at an insulting 2/10, this place is consistently overpriced and poorly managed. It is simply not worth the premium you are forced to pay. (keep in mind: The ice cream in there is shockingly small, barely the size of a small hand)

Great tacos for the whole crew! Has them ready to go or will make fresh for larger orders. This place rocks. Great barbacoa. Can’t wait to try the brisket on a Monday. Great drive thru spot!
