BEWARE : STAY AWAY: DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE: Super bogus smoke shop. The only reason this place has decent reviews is because tourists on vacation stop in once and never have to deal with the garbage customer service again. The tall guy with the beard (around 30-ish) is unbelievably rude, arrogant, and comes off racist as hell. I personally watched him accuse a customer of using fake money the second the guy pulled cash out to pay. No counterfeit pen, no machine check, no actual proof whatsoever. The bills literally looked like fresh ATM cash. The customer calmly asked him to use a counterfeit pen to prove whether it was fake or not, and this clown behind the counter refused. Instead, he just kept acting like he was some counterfeit expert while barely seeming educated enough to understand what he was talking about. The entire interaction was hostile, disrespectful, and honestly looked racially motivated. And sadly, this isn’t even surprising anymore. I’ve lived here for 7 years, and every time I walk into this shop I pray the women are working because they’re the only employees who treat people with basic decency and respect. I’ve given this place multiple chances and I’m done. There are way better smoke shops within blocks of this one that sell legit products and actually know how to treat paying customers. Until the owner gets rid of this rude loser behind the counter, I’ll continue telling everyone I know to avoid this place and spend their money elsewhere.

Purchased a vape yesterday (march 27th 2026)just to go to plug it in today and have it not charge. Gave the shop a call and the guy said to come on in and they’d switch it out for us. Took the ferry over to Galveston and swung by for the guy to say the vape is too old and banged up (it’s literally just scratched) and that they won’t do refunds. Made us waste our time, money and gas for what?

To the entire Wild Side crew: thank you! Especially to Jenni. Texas is doing us and these businesses an enormous disservice and non-justice. Albeit, this business still is able to survive on loyalty, pride, and customer service. No matter what they are allowed to sell. The best people in the island.

Nice little smoke shop. Was able to recommend a decent vape juice for me since I didn't carry my normal brand. Matter of fact they recommended one good enough and priced decent enough that I might switch brands. Good customer service and good products.

This is a horrific shop. Horrible sales, representative, Caucasian guy, then build goofy looking guy mornings afternoon, horrible customer service. I will never return to this shop again, disgusting language coming out of his mouth. No knowledge of any products at all boasts for attitude.Racist comments coming from this kid or grown man, rather dressed like a child.If you're looking to spend your hard-earned money, go to another spot.These guys don't deserve any support
