The owner of the store knowingly sold me a faulty lighter. It exploded, causing me to be in danger due to the butane spewing out. The next day, today, I went back to see if I could exchange it and let him know what happened. He said that he tested it before he gave it to me and it worked. He also said that “that’s what I get for buying a cheap lighter.” he told me that I would have to buy an $80 lighter if I want it to work. He admitted that he knows that he’s selling products that don’t work. I asked him if he’s really willing to lose consistent, reliable, local patrons over five dollars and he said it’s only five dollars and waved me off. I’ve spent more than $70 at that store. They are over priced, they’re taking it out on the community that they were robbed at gunpoint by jacking up all their prices and being rude to the people that still come in. Just go a few blocks down and you’ll see a couple of their options I’ve been to smoke shops from San Francisco, to Austin, to Dallas, to Illinois, and, even Galveston. I’ve never come across a shop owner anywhere with such a lack of dignity and pride for his product. Thank you for the burn, sir.
