Review by a Pipe Smoker for Pipe Smokers ===== Another surprise. This shop does not have a humidor, THE ENTIRE SHOP RETAIL AREA IS A HUMIDOR. There is also a separate public lounge smoking area with lots of comfy club chairs. The lounge was quite busy on the Sunday afternoon when I visited. When I came in Sai , who was very friendly and attentive, quickly greeted me. I told him I was interested in Pipe Tobacco and he guided me towards the back left corner. There was more there than I was hoping to find. There was a double display case with pipes and accessories. The pipes ranged from relatively high-end $800+ Alfred Dunhill "The White Spot" pipes down to a fair selection of your typical $40 basket pipes. There were some leather goods from Rattrays and pipe lighters from premium, moderately priced, and inexpensive throw away ones. Of course they carry pipe cleaners and tools so a new piper could get everything they need to get started in one stop. They have a large selection of bulk tobaccos, over 50. Notable were the number of Sutliff jars still on the shelf so this might be your last chance to get some of those Sutliff blends. There were also plenty of bulk selections from Lane, Cornell and Diehl and some Stokkebye 4th generation. Maybe even some others hiding in there. The bulk tobaccos were all competitively priced at $8 an ounce. For tins, there were 15 or so different Cobblestone blends. These were manufactured by K&K in Germany and distributed by Sutliff in the US, and also some Seattle Pipe Club Blends from the Sutliff era. Again this might be the last time you see these Sutliff era products on a shelf. There were a smattering of other tins in the mix. Sai mentioned that management is happy to check with their suppliers if you are looking for something particular. He also mentioned that they have more pipe tobacco right now than they do shelf space. The store recently expanded and they have the space set aside but are looking to get more shelving. Another feature of the store is their loyalty program where 100 points gets you 10$ off. You earn 1 point for every $1 you spend. CDOT does have online retail sales at the URL noted above, but I do not see any Pipe Tobacco options there. If you are in this part of town I encourage you to stop by and give them some business.

Expansive selection with every option. Very nice store. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Amin is a resourceful and charismatic business owner and will help you with any of your cigar questions! 10/10 recommend going here to pick up a stick!
This establishment offers an excellent environment for enjoying cigars, featuring a comfortable lounge area ideal for watching games, along with an impressive selection of cigars and related accessories.
CDOT is a mixed bag. They have a huge selection but the prices are a little high on certain cigars. Overall friendly atmosphere and pleasant folks to work with.
Don’t judge the interior by the exterior. Location is in a rougher neighborhood, but you forget all about that once you step inside. One of the biggest cigar shops and selections I’ve seen in the Greater Houston area. Members only longe.
