We had my cousin’s 21st birthday there. The host was very nice and hard working. I saw treat every table she had like she wanted our experiences to be special. The DJ did his thang the owner came through and checked in with me my family. This place is a highly recommended

I had my birthday here on last night and let me just say- from the time it toke to finally get a reservation to the night of my event- EPIC FAIL! When we first arrived the air was not working, there was a fan next to the booth that we turned on to cool off with. Secondly they literally only had one host serving tables all night so it delayed a lot of our service! Refills on ice we literally toke the bucket to request refills each time. The food, LORD the food! Two of my guest sent their fried catfish back due to it being overly cooked and fried in OLD cooking oil! The pictures of the food do not match the what you are presented at the establishment! They’re bathrooms were HOT, little space to dance, and DJ was okay. Overall I’d rate my honest visit a 2- when ZaZa first came about the owner seemed like a really nice guy just trying to make it, but I’m sure overtime you’ve learned some lessons! I will never plan another event at this location and would be chancing if I ever returned again. I really hate to see black owned businesses decline over time but somewhere you have to start considering guest response and apply to self and do better! Last night I made the best of it but if it were another spot we could’ve went I definitely would have left. I hope you take your reviews into consideration!!!!
I had a very disappointing experience at ZaZa Lounge. We were there celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, so I expected a much better experience, but unfortunately it fell short in several ways. The food quality was not up to standard. My catfish came out dark brown, which made it seem like the grease hasn’t been changed in a while. I also ordered the lemon pepper wings and they were not good, but I still ate them because I was hungry. They were also out of chicken and boudin egg rolls, which was very frustrating. On top of that, the restaurant was extremely hot inside, and it felt like the A/C was not working properly. I even informed the manager, and nothing improved after they tried adjusting the thermostat. Service was poor overall—there was only one person waiting tables, which caused long delays and bad service. To make it worse, our hookah coals were never checked or changed without us having to ask repeatedly. Unfortunately, between the food, temperature, understaffing, and lack of attention to basic service, the experience was very disappointing, especially for a birthday celebration. I won’t be returning.
Great experience at Za Za Hookah! Loved the vibe, tasty wings & fries. Big thanks to Mr. Za Za for the amazing hospitality , he took great care of us. Will definitely visit again!
This is a NICE spot to chill. This was our first time going. We didn't know it was BYOB, so we didn't have anything to drink, but the vibe was so cool we had shots coming from every different way!!!! We both got the lemon pepper hot wings and the crab dip. Both were GREAT!!! We ordered a Blueberry Mint Hookah, but it wasn't pulling right for some reason. We told the gentleman that brought it and he was very nice about it. He took it back and brought us another one. We got there around 9:30 so we were able to get seats and food rather quickly. The crowd came around 11 or 12. There's a cover charge of 5 to 10 dollars that will be on the bill. It's a mixed crowd in age, but everyone had ONE thing in common... to have a good time. No drama, Good food, Good vibes, Good peeps!! I'm definitely going back SOON.
