This restataurant is a diamond in rough. A true gem. I came here with 2 friends Wednesday night and we had the hole entire place to ourselves. The food was fantastic! We asked for 2 lamb entrees and let the chef pick the dish for us. It was to die for! Best middle eastern cuisine I've ever had! I wanted to try hookah for the first time and the owner brought us his own blend off menu. I was floored on the smoothness and bright senses. Didn't feel sick or weird at all. I was the best way to end dinner with their hot tea that was especially made for us. My friends and I will be going back again. Please promote and share with your friends so they can be a staple of San Antonio for years to come!

Great experience at Darbar Lounge! The Chicken Karahi, Mutton Karahi, and Kabuli Pulao were all delicious and authentic. The traditional Afghan environment makes the place feel warm and unique. It’s also a great venue for gatherings or even wedding celebrations. Highly recommended!
