This bar is listed on Google’s San Antonio locals’ gem list and we decided to check it out. I can confirm this place provided a good experience and could see why it was on the list. Bartenders were very attentive, professional and friendly. Service was on point and they made sure you were doing ok and checking on you. The cocktails were well prepared and delicious. They have a big list of cocktails divided by the type of licor used as the base (bourbon, tequila, vodka, etc). The decor, atmosphere, and vibes were also interesting. Felt welcoming with a mix of some modern esthetic. They even had live music from local artists playing when we went there. Noise was at adequate levels, not too loud that prevented you from talking with other people. I can see the Rose being among the top spots in downtown San Antonio.

So comfortable and the drinks are DELICIOUS!!!! The atmosphere is so comfortable there are so many places to sit around and just lounge. The bartender knows exactly how to make the drinks. We really like this place and it comes highly recommended.

After a very busy Sunday, my husband and I were looking for some place quiet to grab something light to eat before the busy day continued with a concert at the Majestic. We had almost given up on finding that place when we turned the corner and spotted the Rose. As soon as we went through the door we could sense we had found our place. We were welcomed with a friendly greeting and seated quickly and immediately liked the food offerings. The service was wonderful. We got the 3 meat flatbread and loved it. I had a Pinot Grigio and it was just what was needed to relax after running around so much. The Rose has some very intriguing interior decor, and definitely was the right place to grab a quick bite before heading to the Majestic.

Adorable little spot! Our drinks were excellent, the vibe was mellow, laid back, and awesome. Recommend just popping in to take a look and have a drink. Service was outstanding. Had live music playing and it was fabulous.

Amazing atmosphere and service. Kat a and Eduardo were our servers and they exceeded customer service and really knowledgeable. Tried the old fashion smoke and it was delicious.
