The Tinder Box is the best! I've been researching pipe tobacco shops across Utah and Salt lake county, and this is easily the highest-regarded shop I've found and after visiting, I can see why. They have an incredible selection of pipes and pipe tobacco. Whether you're looking for aromatic blends, English blends, tobacco tins, or premium loose tobacco, they have just about everything you could want. Their pipe selection ranges from affordable briars to beautiful high-end pieces. On my second visit, I picked up one of their small dark-stained briar pipes, and it's exactly what I was looking for. So far, my favorite blend has been their Apricot & Cream. It has a subtle flavor and produces a cool, enjoyable smoke. As great as the products are, the staff is even better. Sherry and the owner were incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They not only helped me find exactly what I was looking for, but they also took the time to teach me about the fascinating culture and history of pipe smoking. Whether you're an experienced pipe smoker or just curious about getting started, I highly recommend stopping by. The nicest people in the world! We went in looking for some wedding cigars not knowing much. Dax walked us through a couple of options within our budget including which would pair best with our beverages and ambiance. It was quite fun and did not feel intimidating. Thank you guys!

Nice selection of cigars. Located in a nice retail space. Classy place. Good people work there. They also have other tobacco products like pipe tobacco, humidors, ash trays, etc. I didn't see any vape products or cigarettes.

Good selection of cigars in a walk in humidor. Walking in you would never guess they sold cigars as the place WREAKS of incense. Why would you cover the smell of cigars with cheap fake fragrance? Nice staff but the smell made sure I will not be back.

This is not a gift shop that happens to sell cigars and pipe tobacco, these are true tobacconists that care deeply about their craft. It's not uncommon to find them practicing rolling cigars, or to hear about their own custom boutique pipe tobacco blends. If you love tobacco, like I do, you really should stop in for a visit. Bonus, if you need some incense or Paulo Santo, they've got you covered there, too.
