Not sure what’s the deal with the older woman who works here. Both times I’ve been in I’ve watched her have a friendly & engaged conversation with the customer before me, then switches to “I don’t know what you’re talking about” once it’s my turn. I’ve only asked for American spirits and a downstem ? Like she definitely knows what they are. So she laughs at me for asking for a 14mm downstem, saying she didn’t have one, but also not looking. I pointed them out, and disgruntled she insisted that she doesn’t have a downstem in a length of 14 inches 😳…yeah nobody does, and that WOULD be laughable. I explained “14 like the size of the top, like how they can be either 14mm or 18mm” and pointed at exactly the one I was looking for, she pulls out a different, shorter one, questioning whether I knew what size I needed - how I could possibly know that if I don’t have it with me - asking me to bring in the dirty piece, and becoming more rude and resistant that I was confident in my purchase? I firmly insisted I knew what size I needed, wasn’t worried about no returns, and she was still like “are you sure? How do you know? So this one? (Referring to everything but the one I asked for)” this cycle repeated a few times. After firmly insisting I was positive, she got even more rude, and told me it would be like $2.50 extra for card, and tried to haggle me for cash even though I said that’s fine (I literally just wanted to leave). She was still dragging things out and acting disgruntled so I eventually said “you know what I’ll just go get cash” and left cause this could have taken 5 seconds anywhere else. It occurred to me maybe it was an age thing, but she could have checked my ID if there was any confusion. Both times I’ve been treated like I’m committing a crime for making a purchase. It’s giving “we depend on selling tobacco to minors to stay in business” which is a crime. Making a legal purchase is not.

Prices on cigarettes are based on Marlboro selling their products first, so cheaper cigarettes, of better value, are overpriced. Manager coldhearted when this is brought up to him. I was made to sit elsewhere when I confronted him about the unfair pricing.
Nice small tobacco and accessories store. Friendly service.
Great customer service
