Wish I could give 0 Stars! The owner started yelling at me because I took a photo of an awesome collection of pipes to PURCHASE and to come have my friends come purchase who lives in my town. Since we live hours away, most people now a days need to FaceTime or send photos when making gift purchases. This is common. There are no signs that say no photos or recording allowed. The owner began to rant saying that he makes the California law, and his law was is all that mattered. Then when I asked if he was interested in business, he denied the business, an turned around to sit. I left peacefully. STAY AWARE FROM THIS PLACE. The owner is not your typical down to earth cigar/tabacco shop owner.

I have been enjoying cigars for 25 years and love to go and drop in on new to me cigar lounges where ever I may roam. I can say that until now every cigar lounge i have been into has made me feel welcome. a cigar lounge should be like smoking at a friends house in front of the fire in their living room. Was talking to a Master Blender once and he said the cigar is like cozing up to the fire for warm conversations, sharing of stories. Tobacco Road is a very nice looking cigar lounge. 9 out of 10 if you ask me. Great selection in the humidor with a variety of different cigar brands and budgets. another 9 out of 10. Apparently there is a minimum spend amout and my 11 dollar stick did not meet the requirment to use the nearly empty lounge but the person working there gave me a 1 time exception. He was kind of snooty and that to me is a 1 out of 10. Not a warm enviroment at all. About 6 people in there seated far, far apart. no one talking. was kind of weird to me . kind of cold Now maybe i was not dressed appropiatly in my shorts and t shirt but still you never know who someone is and should not judge a customer by their appearance. Or maybe this is a private club and only members are welcome. I f that is the case I am not applying for membership

Phenomenal purchasing experience here. I was in the market for pipe tobacco and stumbled across this location. Z was thorough in helping me select some, and I really appreciated the properly humidified cigar room. Will most definitely spend more money here!

Best shop in the Sacramento area. Great selection of cigars to choose from. They also carry a large inventory of pipe tobacco and accouterments. If you smoke a pipe this is definitely the place to go. One of my very favorite places to watch a Premier League football match.

The place itself is very nice. Great humidor, nice lounge..but the bald guy was kind of condescending and rolled his eyes a lot when I asked questions. Was very snarky as well. I asked a few questions to which he gave condescending answers. On my way out i asked about a cut fee so I could smoke my own cigar tomorrow, he rolled his eyes and pointed to a sign that said it was a 30 dollar charge to sit in the lounge. I could tell by his crap attitude this irritated him (keep in mind this was AFTER I bought and smoked a $20 cigar already, i wasnt asking for anything other than to come back tomorrow and be a customer again. The way this irritated him and the way his attitude is very unwelcoming, he won't see another dime from me. I suggest you find somewhere else to go. They only got 2 stars for the way the place looked i wouldve given less had it not been so well kept.
