They round up the price so if you pay cash they don't have to give you coin change. If I were paying with a credit card they loss money b/c of the cc fees. Not fair they punish cash buyers by keeping the change when we are saving them money.

I've been visiting Golden Market since I was a child in the 1990s, and after moving back to the city in 2016, I've noticed that this place has only improved! The family-owned staff is incredibly kind and helpful; whenever I'm looking for something, they either have it in stock or are willing to arrange to order it. It's conveniently located within walking distance, and I always feel safe while shopping there. Fred truly has a heart of gold, and the rest of the staff is wonderful as well! Golden Market is the best place to shop in San Francisco! 😊

Best little gem in town! If you’re looking for a one-stop shop for top-shelf liquor, cold beer, and the perfect lineup of snacks, this is the spot! They’ve got everything from rare finds to classic picks, plus all the chips and candy you could ever want. The owners are super friendly, and it’s like walking into a family get-together every time. Highly recommend swinging by – you won’t leave empty-handed (or hungry)!

In a city of plenty options, for years this has been my go-to corner store ~ for convenience and especially for quality service. A beautiful family runs this location and from since opening some years ago they've always been wildly accommodating, kind, and peace-bringing. So very happy to recommend!

Great little corner shop owned by an amazing family who are all super friendly and generous! They care about their customers more than any other store in the Mission, and if you're a regular they'll go out of their way to make sure they're able to stock whatever you're looking for. They also restock regularly, and you won't find expired products like many of the other little shops in the area.
