Unusually friendly service here. I don't know much about tobacco but I was provided with knowledge and a smile. I bought one of their blends they sell by the ounce or the 1/4lb or the pound for rolling my own. I'm sure I will be back.

Kevin the owner is so gracious and generous. And it's a beautiful shop and assortment of cigars. Really great group of people to meet there.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! I don't smoke but I was buying for some friends of mine. He asked a few questions and made suggestions. Great service!

Sanctuary Smoke Shop may be the smallest cigar lounge I’ve ever visited, but it’s easily one of the best. The selection of cigars, pipes, and tobacco is top-notch, and Kevin (the owner) and his friends are incredibly welcoming. These fellows really know their cigars and are very knowledgeable about tobacco, which makes the experience even better. The upstairs lounge about 6 people, but it’s full of charm, a big screen tv and comfortable chairs and great company. The locals here are some of the friendliest you’ll meet—happy to converse share drinks, snacks and good times. I felt like I’ve been coming here for years. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in SLO.
