We came after a late flight into SFO. The server was very friendly and the food was delicious. The portion sizes were generous and my husband loved the lamb shank!

I don’t even know where to start. The food, the decor, the music, and the staff were all incredible. Saif was our host and showed us what real Middle Eastern hospitality feels like. And the food? Not just good, it is truly excellent. They even surprised us with free baklava at the end. Such a thoughtful touch. You guys are amazing. Highly, highly recommended.

Hands down, this is the best shawarma I’ve ever had in my life. The food is absolutely incredible, and you can tell everything is made with care. The owners are amazing people—friendly, hardworking, and they truly care about their customers. The remodel looks fantastic and gives the restaurant such a welcoming atmosphere. Great food, great people, and great vibes all around. I can’t recommend this place enough, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Keep up the amazing work!

We celebrated a birthday at Layalena Restaurant & Bar and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! We ordered a specialty platter of chicken and lamb shish tawooks, fresh salads, garlic muthawama, mango smoothies, and iced lemon mint, every single dish was bursting with flavor and clearly made with care. The service was outstanding. Maryam, our hostess, made us feel so welcome and took great care of our celebration. It was such a special touch when the chef came out personally to present the dishes, you could tell there’s real pride behind the food here. A huge shoutout to Maryam, Samir, and Abu Muhammad for making our birthday celebrations unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back, and we highly recommend Layalena to anyone looking for incredible Middle Eastern food and genuinely warm hospitality! PS: you can watch the World Cup games here too!!

I absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the hookah was one of the best I’ve had. This has definitely become one of my favorite spots, and I’ll be coming back regularly. Highly recommend!
