I’ve been ordering from HookahJohn since I think 2020. When I got back in to hookah, I was rummaging around the interwebs for a new hookah. I ordered things from a few different places, but HookahJohn was by far the most reliable, fastest shipping, best selection, and best customer service. I’m on the east coast, and he and his team consistently get me my order on time. The few times I’ve had to reach out to customer service, they immediately fix the issue. I worked in distributor warehouses for years, and I can tell you, this level of customer service is rare. Like HJ and Chewy on that tier and that’s it. I use HJ exclusively for hookah, shisha, and accessories, and you should too. Thanks y’all

Honestly, pretty disappointed with my first (and apparently last) order from HookahJohn. I placed a $600+ order using my credit card, and shortly afterward got an email saying my card had been “flagged for fraud” and asking me to pay the order via Zelle instead. I checked my bank account and could actually see the HookahJohn transaction, so I replied that I'd rather stick with a normal credit card payment. Especially for a first $600+ order, I'm not going to send money via Zelle and give up the protections that come with paying by card. I asked them to check their payment system and see if there was another way to process the order. Instead, the order was simply canceled. What really made me question the whole thing is what happened when I searched for other people's experiences. Just Google “HookahJohn order issue” and you'll find a ton of Reddit threads and reviews describing basically the exact same story: place an order with a credit card → get told the card was flagged for fraud → get asked to Zelle the money → refuse → order gets canceled. This isn't some one-off complaint from years ago either; there are very recent reviews describing the same thing. I attached the actual email asking me to pay via Zelle and the order cancellation so people can make up their own minds. I gave them the opportunity to explain what happened before posting this review. No response so far. Good products and prices are nice, but there are plenty of other hookah shops where I can simply pay with a credit card and get my order without this whole situation. I'll be shopping elsewhere.

Always the best place to get your hookah supplies. Been buying from John for many many years.. he always looks after his customers. He’s thrown in extras here and there from my time buying from him. Absolutely the best hookah supply vendor for your shisha needs, and also amazing hookahs. He travels very far and does respectful R&D to make sure his hookah products are the best they possibly can be before he sells a product or hookah accessory. John and his team WILL take care of you as he has me all these years.

ordered a case of coals and the entire case was defective. all the coals split in half when they’re lit. i emailed customer service to remedy the situation and still no response months later… i am not able to comment on your response so i had to edit my post. this is not a fake review, ive attached a picture of my order so that wont work… and im not the only one experiencing this, look at the review from Tugrol from 11 months ago, they received the same defective coals. If you check your inbox I sent an email with pictures regarding my the defective coals and never received a response. here’s a picture of the order and the coals split in half.
