My experience at the Walmart in Lecanto has been disappointing. While there are some employees who consistently provide excellent service and go above and beyond for customers, their efforts appear to be affected by leadership. I was particularly dissatisfied with my interaction with the store manager, Sean. Rather than fully addressing my concerns, he came across as dismissive and did not make me feel that my feedback as a customer was being taken seriously. It seemed his focus was on closing the issue rather than understanding the underlying concerns that led to it. Customer service begins with leadership, and when a store manager does not respond to customer concerns with professionalism and respect, it can create challenges for both employees and customers. The associates who care about providing good service deserve stronger leadership and support. I hope Walmart takes customer feedback seriously and recognizes that management’s approach has a direct effect on employee morale and the overall customer experience. I have been a Walmart+ member for more than five years, although I have not visited the Lecanto store in the last three. Based on this experience, I have decided to cancel my membership and will not be shopping at this location in the future. I had been considering a purchase there, but chose not to proceed. Although that was disappointing, I believe it was the right decision for me. I hope local retailers continue to recognize that customers have choices and that consistent, respectful service remains important.

I am usually a review lever when things go bad unfortunately . I need to stop doing that because that’s not fair to the people that really try to make your experience pleasant. We talk about how great these individuals ARE are at home when we are chatting about our day to one another. I mean ONE OF US has a story daily of over an hour being on hold and mysteriously get disconnected. We may have a grumpy chic at our place of coffee and that usually can set a yucky tone for the day. If you let it…but then you forget to write the reviews on the pleasant , knowledgeable, get this…HELPFUL AND NOT LAZY!!!!! What??? I know I know! Lol people who make u smile even if ur world is crashing down!!!!! so I am leaving Walmart right now. It is after 11 o’clock. I was shopping for my 84-year-old mother for her birthday. Ran out of time tonight showed up here with 15 minutes to shop not cool I know that so Paige she is the team leader for the front of the house really really was so kind and like even though I know she was probably wanting to strangle me because I was the last one in here and not only that then I went ahead and gave her everything back and said I’d be back in the morning because I ran a credit card and I thought I had cash with me and I was like 10 bucks short of 120 so with all that being said one long run-on sentence cause I’m not even looking at my grammar right now so forgive me ! Lol I wanted to let everybody know that the Lecanto Walmart has a woman working their named Paige. Cute as a button. And it looks like she has a good team surrounding her as well. I hope her superiors know how difficult it is to hold on to someone like her. I just wanna say that, I appreciate her, because I know better than to walk in a place with 15 minutes to shop. I know better than to screw up my cashing out process and needing assistance. I know better than to do anything and then ask her to please put the stuff in a bag and if she could possibly leave it with my name on it so I could just grab it in the morning that would be great. She can’t do that obviously so I’m being silly, but she was just so freaking nice I had to leave this review. I just couldn’t not leave the review. She was so nice and that doesn’t happen anymore. No competence anywhere anymore. Walmart in Lecanto must be pretty challenging and she’s doing amazing. She deserves a raise, and she deserves to bypass her manager. That’s possibly outfront complaining about absolutely everything and everyone while smoking a nasty cigarette so I walked right through it. Real professional. Thanks Paige!

Walmart delivery/curbside pickup is a Joke!!! If you wanna throw your money away on delivery membership, or waste your time on curb side pick up, be ready for absolute frustration. Like ordering 24 items, having 2 items needing to be shipped on different dates because of unavailability, and only receiving 9 out of 24 items with no explanation about the items not received. Also, ordering produce, such as organic spinach that arrives slimy with less than 24 hours before it expires, and fresh rosemary sprigs that arrived moldy, and receiving the wrong item/something you never ordered instead of what you did order... Yeah, like one of the managers once told me, "mistakes happen". Mistakes do happen, I agree, but when 3 out of 5 orders are as described, well..., The waste of time, energy, and frustration is just not worth it. Forgert saving a few bucks. I'd rather shop at Aldi's with better prices, Winn Dixie, or Publix. Love yourself.

So refreshing to see a young man enthusiastic and happy to be working. Bubba did an excellent job as check out clerk. Quick, personable and helpful.

I have to say this is not only a place where I get my medication, my shots but also get taken care of. Sometimes at my age and I do not have family here they are my family. We asked about each other's lives you care about each other we have great conversation we laugh people online get involved in our conversations it's a place of camaraderie also. Sometimes they're the only people I see and talk to . We respect each other. It's not easy dealing with the public especially when the public doesn't feel well sometimes and I have yet to see anybody disrespect the customer not give that customer their undivided attention and care. Places immaculate... There's always in hello they peek over the wall in the back when they hear my voice or other people not only me that they know that they've come to know a lot of people are on first name basis over there at lecanto. I love them all dearly I am a lot older than a lot of them I look at them as my children sometimes. I've never had to wait for a prescription and of my prescription was not ready or if my doctor did not call it in like they said they did they get on it and I'd have my prescription by the time I got there. I know when things come down from corporate I was a corporate person back in the day and this is one place in my opinion and a lot of people that go there this is one place you don't have to worry about... I would not have any concerns about getting my prescriptions filled pharmacy items purchased at the Lecanto Walmart ❤️👍🙂
