Came here to celebrate a friend. We were a pretty large party of 30 people. Wait staff was great and attentive. I was excited to try the food as I love going to Nola. Maybe the food would have been better if I couldn't compare it to cajun creole food in Nola. The foot was mid, seasoning was lacking. I tried the alligator bites... wasn't really impressed with the sauce. The pasta was decent, but I added salmon (for a great price) to get some added protein. The drinks were good and strong. The venue looks great and also had a live band. I could possibly come back for drinks.

Went to Voodoo Lounge & Rooftop on a Friday night with a group of 8. You can hear the music from outside, which is what pulled us in — modern rap, high energy, and one of the few spots on Ocean Drive that clearly leans into that vibe. We walked in with no cover, which was a plus. The space isn’t huge, but we were able to secure a section near the DJ and get bottle service without issues. Drinks start around $20+, so expect typical South Beach pricing. The DJ stood out — once he realized we were from Louisiana, he adjusted the set and kept the energy right. That kind of awareness makes a difference. Bartenders were quick and respectful, and security handled the crowd well, even with people getting a little wild in sections. There’s also a rooftop area with its own bar if you need a break from the main floor. Overall, a solid turn-up spot if you’re looking for a hip-hop-driven environment on Ocean Drive. I rate based on real experience, not hype.
The food was ok, I had the grilled half chicken with mashed potatoes and plantains. The chicken was a little dry too overcooked. The mash potatoes taste like boxed mashed potatoes. The plantains was delicious. We was on the rooftop they have fans all around so the temperature was kinda cool which made the food get cold. The atmosphere was great, nice music and tone. The waitress was very attentive, and courteous. The service was A1.
Cool speak easy in South Beach. Drinks are expensive but good. Music choice was great at first with a DJ, the vibe was right, but after the DJ left it was not good. The lady that greeted us was very nice but a little weird , oddly comfortable with us. Overall a decent spot.
Landed in Miami after being at work all day and immediately headed to Voodoo. The premium cocktail was literally bigger than my head, the chicken tenders and fries hit the spot, and it was the perfect way to start my vacation. The vibe was exactly what you’d expect from South Beach—fun, lively, and a great place to get your night started. They also have hookah, which made the experience even better. If you’re visiting Miami and want good drinks and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend
