Went on a Saturday night for date night. The server came Delicia was nice and tried to assist when I received my food partially cooked within 10 mins of ordering. We had Cajun jollof pasta, suja, and jollof rice. Food wasn’t the best, but someone in management came over and offered to take something off ($7). Music was good and there is street parking. My advice would be to get a chef or native to prepare the food from the countries that have cultural dishes on the menu.

Food was seasoned and delicious, drinks were just right. I highly recommend trying them. They have music and if too much or loud they have the patio area which was nice. The music was very ratchet, trashy and loud. This is why I gave a 4 star vs 5 star. Brunch on weekends is from 12pm - 7pm. The service was good, no issues. Parking is $10 but you have to walk or $20 to park closer and you park your own vehicle.

Afro fusion where? The food was extremely basic. The wings tasted like some freezer bag party wings. The fries were terrible. The Mediterranean wrap with chicken “shawarma” which it was not. It was just some freezer bag chopped up chicken. It was not on pita bread as described on the menu. It was a flour tortilla. The lemon drop drink and the plantains were the only things that were satisfactory. This is not a place to eat. They have some work to do if they want to compete with other Atlanta restaurants. Great concept but they need a good chef to come in work on the recipes. I am glad I didn’t pay for the more expensive dishes because I really believe I wouldn’t have gotten my money worth in quality. If you do want to come for over priced hookah, a decent drink and some music this is it. They also serve regular dishes with plastic silver and ketchup packages. The servers were nice. It’s a nice establishment but I won’t be back.

I wanted to give a four star because I wasn’t given regular flatware but everything else made up for it. Good service, great atmosphere, and food/drinks were good. I hope this business stays open because I want to see a black owned businesses thrive in the middle of a metropolitan area. I would come back just for the strawberry margarita! Good job Afro District.

The food was outstanding, the service was on point, and the atmosphere is a vibe! This will be new hangout for sure. Shout out to Lauren our server for such great service. We had the Suya burger w/ jollof (sooo good), vegetable eggrolls (the sauce!), and Naija Chicken Skewers (the seasoning!). We all enjoyed our food. I will return.
