They placed a charge on my card, held the funds, and then let the authorization expire, which returned the money to my account. But days later — after I thought the transaction was void — they silently pushed the charge through anyway, causing my account to go negative. At first, I thought it was just bad timing. But after speaking with Cash App and digging deeper, I realized this might be a tactic: they hold your money, let the hold expire, wait until you spend it, then finalize the charge to force your account into default. The kicker? They accept no responsibility, and refuse refunds even though their delay caused the issue. When I tried to talk to someone at the store, the manager was shockingly rude, dismissive, and condescending. I left feeling disrespected, manipulated, and targeted — not just financially, but personally. If you value your money or your dignity, avoid this place completely. My experience involved not only unethical financial practices but also a deeply disturbing interaction with one of the most disrespectful, racially biased managers I’ve ever encountered. On May 31, 2025, the business placed a temporary authorization hold on my Cash App Card for a purchase. That hold expired on June 5, 2025, and the funds were returned to my account. Then—without my consent and days after the hold had legally expired—the merchant went back and re-processed the charge on June 7, causing my account to go negative. This was confirmed by Cash App, and I was told the merchant refused to cooperate or make any refund. When I attempted to get clarity or resolve the issue, the manager responded with extreme disrespect, dismissiveness, and blatant racial undertones, treating me as if I had no right to question the charge. It was not only humiliating, it was enraging. If you value your dignity, your wallet, and your safety—stay away from this establishment. What happened to me could happen to you: delayed charges, denied refunds, and a total lack of professionalism or accountability.
