It was so fun trying Ethiopian food! The staff was so friendly when we went in and helped us look through the menu. My friends and I shared a platter and really liked it. I hope to see the place grow and hope to go back again :)

Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere, relaxing, whole room smells good, great music. My friend and I had the doro wat dinner combo and it was our first time having Ethiopian food. Amazing!!! Every single new dish I tried was good, I didn't even know cauliflower could taste that good! You've got to come try it! Lovely and will be back!

Sara and Tedros Ethiopian shares a building with King Coal and the food is amazing and a really good deal. Its the only Ethiopian restaurant in Wichita. They have great vegetarian and gluten free options. I especially enjoyed the lentil and split pea dishes. There is also a veggie combo dish that I didn't see on the menu.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at King Coal Hookah Lounge! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the amazing ambiance—cozy, welcoming, and perfect for unwinding with friends. The variety of hookah flavors is impressive, and each one I tried was smooth and flavorful. It’s clear they take pride in providing top-notch service, as the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The selection of board games and card games was such a great touch as we get to have something fun to do while you enjoy your hookah. Whether you’re into classics or something more modern, there’s something for everyone. And, the bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained, which always adds to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a chill spot with great vibes, awesome hookah, and plenty of entertainment, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
