I told the manger I was going check. I reached in my pocket to get my receipt that I assumed was given to me with my change. I then asked the clerk for my receipt. He stated, "its in the trash, I threw it away." I proceeded on to ask, if the individual I'm shopping for isn't pleased how will I return it. He replied, you can't. I immediately said well I want a refund now. I'm thinking that would be best since he's aware of the current situation. Well he told me I can't help you without a receipt and I am the manager. HOW COULD I PRODUCE A RECEIPT IF HE DIDN'T GIVE ME ONE? I'M CURRENTLY STUCK WITH 50 DOLLARS WORTH OF ITEMS BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE A RECEIPT THAT WASN'T GIVEN TO ME. LIKE I SAID I NEVER LEFT THE STORE... I HOPE a GM or UPPER MANAGEMENT sees this because this IS NOT RIGHT...

On a rainy day I went to the Dollar general in Moss Bluff off of highway 171 and Gloria Dr. They have had this pothole that is huge since I know at least November of 2023. I have to park in the front because I have very bad back problems and on this particular day every spot was taken except the one by this huge hole. I went over it with my car tires not hitting it. However as I was leaving I was not that lucky. I go over the hole in the front of my car which is a low-lying car hit this pothole very hard. Luckily it did not bust my tires but it did however take off the front plastic part of my vehicle. I t loosened the plastic and as I drove home I couldn't hear only the rain and a funny sound like scraping sounds. I ran into the house with my things and the next morning I see the plastic hanging off my car and scrape marks. I tried to get in touch with the manager and she was not in because it was a weekend. So I have been calling corporate office for 2 weeks now and have not gotten anyone to answer back.now whenever I turn my wheel my car makes a strange sound and I can actually have proof from my mechanic that it did not make this sound when he worked on my vehicle not long ago. I am very frustrated and furious and I'm about to get an attorney so I can have them fix whatever happened to my car when I hit this stupid hole I do not understand why the manager cannot get the district manager to do anything about this. I do not understand why the district manager for the regional manager does not care enough to actually get off of their behinds and fix this problem. I just noticed in the picture on this website that the hole was patched up apparently whenever they decided to take the photos of the store. You can see it very clearly from my photos how it is right now and it's very deep. You can even still see that it is covered in water. I am very furious about my vehicle being torn up and also how negligent the management are being about this problem. I understand a manager can only do so much but the district manager and the regional manager can do much more and they are not! They are either going to fix my vehicle or they are going to go to go to court. Everyone please be aware of this hole and try your best to avoid it. The problem is if you are handicapped or disabled you have no choice but to park by this hole because of its location. Shame on you Dollar general corporate management. Also as I was trying to post this it requires to put a star ⭐ for the review. I had to give it 1 ⭐ star whenever I think it deserves zero.

Convenient for me on my way home outta of sulphur. Pretty busy but at least they are open

Dollar General in Moss Bluff is a big dollar store. It has the greatest selection on any product u should need. The customer service is top notch. Just a down south feel everyone is very friendly, and they were very helpful when I needed their assistance. I recommend that if u have to even drive 10 maybe even 15 miles out the way. It would still be worth it to shop at this store ppl. I'm telling u it is just amazing

Only stopped in for Gas-X but ended up buying a cute shirt and dress. Yellow dot buy one get one free couldn't pass it up. The lady that checked me out just got there and didn't seem very happy to be at work.
