Great spot they have everything at great prices

Extremely unethical, and I'd give ZERO stars if I could. I've never had an issue with the ladies that work there, but the man is definitely unethical, rude, and impractical. Stepped in to cash out a winning scratch off and waited in line. The customer ahead of me made his purchase and stepped away to the opposite end of the counter to scratch off his tickets, and the retailer called me up as next. I handed him my scratch off, and stated I'd like to purchase 2 $20 tickets, and he told me he couldn't sell them to me because the gentleman who was scratching off his ticket at the other end of the counter was playing that ticket number. I responded that he'd made his purchase already; he wasn't in line to buy another and that THEIR transaction ended and OUR transaction began when he called me as next. As he held my winning ticket to cash, he said he wasn't selling me that ticket number, because it would be unfair to the man if I bought it, and scratched off a winner. I told him that was the purpose of buying scratch offs - they are a gamble, but logically if he called me up to service me that should have been the end of his transaction until I'd made my purchase, and then he could pick back up where he left off with him. This is how selling tickets is handled at every retailer I've ever been to. I just cashed my ticket in and left, because honestly it seemed as if they were up to something illegal. The retailer was nervous and acting shifty. He also said something about being "fair" to his loyal customers. This is a SMOKE SHOP. Since when does it require loyalty to the point of being unethical and discriminatory by denying customers service? I have reported this to the Player Relations Department of the Michigan Gaming Commission, and also reached out to an attorney. It bothered me that I was denied service in this way.

The lady that works friday through monday's really nice.The owner's the little grumpy, but hey, sometimes life can be grumpy

Since my first review, I have been back and have seen a change in the right direction. It's definitely gotten better. I would even say it's a good place to go now and have had nothing but positive experiences lately.

Says they open at 9 am except no one is ever there at 9 am.
