I stopped here last weekend, and David was one of the most kind, pleasant, and helpful persons I’ve ever spoken with. “Just remember, NO question is a dumb question, stop in or call anytime with any question whatsoever!” A true gentleman & a gem of a human being! Highly recommend this shop.

My first experience with a cigar was here…over 30 years ago! David is the best and an absolute joy to talk to. If you enjoy the pipe and cigar experience, there is no better than JR Fielding.

Unique and fun tobacco shop with a spacious cigar humidor and a nice selection of tobacco, pipes and accouterments. David - extremely knowledgeable, and entertaining to boot - helped me pick out a nice Savanelli, supplemented with a selection of custom blended tobacco. If you're a pipe smoker you need to visit this store! Now, for a short rant: It's terribly unfortunate that the city of Shoreview, in their infinite wisdom, has disallowed smoking in tobacco shops. I can smoke in Tobacco Grove (Maple Grove) and Cigar Jones (Minnetonka), but not here. Who are they protecting? The owner - who's a life-long pipe smoker? The customers, who are all smokers? The UPS driver popping in for less than a minute? They're certainly not protecting the proprietor's business, that's for sure. /rant

David is the guy I buy my ‘gars from here. It is not that often, but always when I do. Besides supporting local Businesses, prices are not that much different than online anyway. Half the fun of cigars is spending way too much time in humidor as you can here. David introduced me to Padron and I haven’t moved on since. Go here and make it a habit in itself!
