I’ve been to this smoke shop before, so this isn’t my first visit, but this is my first complaint — and unfortunately, it’s a long one. First, the parking lot is extremely small and difficult to get in and out of. There’s no proper lip or smooth entrance, which makes pulling in stressful and inconvenient every time. Second, I rarely ever see the boss/owner. Anytime I ask for him, he seems to be MIA, which is frustrating when customers have concerns that need to be addressed. When it comes to the flower, I don’t feel like I’m being properly informed. Every time I ask about it, I’m told the same generic response: “They all have 20% THC and has an earthy tone.” That doesn’t tell me what I’m actually buying. I want real details. Compared to other smoke shops, the flower here feels poorly handled — almost like it’s been over-seasoned or not stored properly — and the quality just isn’t there. Freshness is another big issue. Products should be fresh, period. Almost every pack of Backwoods I’ve purchased has been dry and crumbly, which is unacceptable. I’m also concerned about employee safety. I don’t like that the women are often working alone at night, with no visible security or partner. That feels unsafe and irresponsible. Lastly, the prices are outrageous. Charging $13.12 for a Lava Plus and $35 for a Lava Click is excessive compared to other shops. Overall, something needs to change ASAP. Between the pricing, quality, safety concerns, and lack of transparency, I do not recommend this or any of these chained smoke shops.
