Nine years behind the wheel of a Peterbilt teaches you two things: how to navigate a lake-effect snowstorm on I-90 and how to appreciate the quiet sanctuary of a premium stick after a long haul. I’ve burned tobacco across the country, but pulling into Buffalo Cigars felt like finally hitting a clear stretch of highway after a brutal run. This place is a masterpiece of aesthetics. From the massive bison statue standing guard in the snow to the moment you sink into those leather chairs, you’re in a 5-star sanctuary. The walls are adorned with striking artwork—specifically that hauntingly cool painting of Paul Revere mid-ride, cigar clamped firmly in his teeth. Whether you’re hanging in the open-floor front lounge or tucking into the back, the vibe is pure, unadulterated class. The customer service? Top-tier. They treat a weary road warrior like royalty. The Midnight Ride: Lets talk about it!!! Now, let’s talk about the main event: Paul Revere "Midnight Ride" The Build: Looking at it in the cab, the construction is seamless. It’s a sturdy, medium-to-full-bodied powerhouse wrapped in a dark, oily leaf that looks as rich as a midnight sky over the Plains. The Strength & Body: This isn't a morning smoke for the faint of heart. It starts with a bold kick of black pepper and transitions into a deep, earthy core. The Flavor Profile: You’re going to pick up heavy notes of dark chocolate and espresso, balanced by a surprising hint of cedar on the finish. As it burns, a charred oak sweetness develops—reminiscent of a good bourbon after a long week on the clock. It’s complex, rugged, and demands your full attention. Paul Revere: Fun Facts & The Concept The concept behind this cigar is a tribute to the legendary American silversmith and patriot. It’s designed to evoke the grit and determination of that famous night in April 1775. More than a Messenger: While the cigar celebrates his "Midnight Ride," Revere was actually a master silversmith and an early industrialist who built the first copper rolling mill in America. The "Cigar" Mystery: While the painting on the wall shows him smoking, historians debate his specific tobacco habits, but the spirit of the man—bold, tireless, and rebellious—is exactly what this blend captures. The Signal: Just as the "one if by land, two if by sea" lanterns signaled the revolution, the thick, white smoke of this stick signals the start of a perfect evening. If you find yourself anywhere near Buffalo Cigars, do yourself a favor: park the rig, grab a Midnight Ride, and soak in the atmosphere. It’s a 5-star experience that’ll make you forget all about the miles behind you.

I recently visited Buffalo Cigar Club in Orchard Park and had an outstanding experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, and exactly what you would hope for in a premium cigar lounge. The selection was impressive, with plenty of options for both experienced cigar enthusiasts and newcomers. A special thank you to William Mackey, who went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. William was knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to answer questions and provide recommendations without making me feel rushed. His customer service and passion for cigars really stood out and made the experience memorable. If you're looking for a great place to relax, enjoy a quality cigar, and receive exceptional service, I highly recommend Buffalo Cigar Club. I'll definitely be returning.

The Place is Awesome, my friend Dan Oconnor, an employee, told me about it years ago. I can’t be happier, Excellent Monthly Parties, the summer patio parties, The Christmas Party, which is worth the membership alone, the room upstairs, which I’ve used 3 times for my card group, Awesome and Friendly bartenders, and of course the Cigars. Excellent variety, I’m always trying something new, and I can’t leave out The Founding Fathers Brand, always excellent, along with great value. Keep Up The Great Work, Smoke On ..
