This place is getting two 5-star reviews. First 5-star review (The Staff): Kelly is amazing. Great cigar knowledge, very personable and cute (sorry guys, she's taken and her fiance makes fantastic custom humidors). Within minutes I felt like we've been friends for a while. Second 5-star review (The Company): The minute I stepped outside, Kelly introduced me to a couple of very friendly regulars. Over the next several hours, people sat down, all different backgrounds... Quite a collection of characters and personalities. Was having such a great time, I stayed for two more cigars. Kelly, thanks for a great afternoon. Tell everyone I said "Hi." Cheers, Chicago Ray

Stopped in on a road trip for work. Found one of the best cigars I’ve ever had. The young lady working was awesome too. Will return just for this cigar!!

I came in for a cigar and found a neighborhood. Kelly, the current owner, has made World Headquarters Cigars feel less like a counter and more like a local clubhouse. I had a hard-to-find El Septimo Empress of Sheba, a delicious smoke, and watched the Carolina/Oklahoma College World Series game outside with Kelly and a spirited group of regulars. The shop has range: deep red walls, leather seating, framed art, and a map table inside; tent, TV, and casual chairs outside. It works because it is both curated and completely unpretentious. A memorable Merritt Mill Road spot.

Great little shop that has a decent selection. While they don’t have a walk-in humidor, they have several display cases with sticks from a multitude of different areas. The staff member (maybe owner?) was super friendly and accommodating an provided some good recommendations. Definitely happy to have a small business like this close by!

Great little shop. Kelly is awesome and she was extraordinarily helpful and friendly making recommendations for some boutique brands with which I was not familiar. Great sticks. I splurged on a new lighter, too. I look forward to coming back during future trips to Chapel Hill.
