They’re a wholesaler and I’m a store owner who has done business with them before. When I entered their facility, I greeted the guys, asked about his mother, and then greeted her before continuing to shop for my store. While shopping, I sent a picture to my store manager to confirm if they needed a specific product. As I waited for his response, I was on a brief video call with my family overseas, walking around the aisle for maybe 5 or max 10 minutes. Out of nowhere, the mother came up to me and said, “Are you buying something or what?” I explained that I was waiting to hear back from my employee about the product. Taken aback, I asked her, “Have I been here too long?” She replied that she didn’t want me “roaming around taking pictures.” I clarified that I wasn’t taking photos—I was showing my nephew some of their products on a video call, and I even showed her the call to prove it. She then asked which store the purchase was for, and walked away without another word. Honestly, I was ready to walk out right then, but my employee called back, so I quickly paid for two items and left. The son who handled the checkout seemed a bit dismissive as well. Maybe they were having a rough day — who knows — but there’s no reason to be disrespectful to people. I’ve always treated their family, especially their mother, with respect and chose to shop there whenever possible. But after this experience, this will be the last time I walk through the doors of 2140 reading rd. It’s unfortunate things ended this way. I truly wish this incident hadn’t happened and that we could’ve continued the good business relationship we once had. But it’s too bad that it all ended so abruptly and on such a disappointing note. Wish you the best. Absolutely rude and unprofessional way to treat local store owners — especially when they know, who we are. We’re not random people off the street; we’re their customers and business owners, and deserve to be treated with basic respect. Edit- No sir this isn’t a fake review. Always has what we need and more than substantial customer service. If i need anything they always help to the fullest extent.
