Yesterday was my first visit to La Chaveta and I cannot say enough great things about this place! I frequent another lounge a little bit closer to where I live, but I'm attending an event here next week and went in advance to check it out. The interior is absolutely gorgeous and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. I was directed to an area where I could set my belongings and then shown around their impressive two-room humidor. I had a cigar in mind that I was after and they actually had it, so that was an immediate win ("Ferio Tego Timeless Supreme" for anyone wanting a recommendation)! Their selections of fine cigars are immense and they have an abundance of the types I regularly smoke. They also had a "Top 25 of 2026" listing on their door and circled the ones they have in stock, so I was able to pick out a few I may have otherwise overlooked. I spoke to someone else there (so sorry I forgot your name, but I'll commit it to memory the next time I stop in!) who has over 20 years of experience in the cigar industry and was able to direct me to some other selections I am looking forward to trying soon! The lounge itself was not too busy and the volume of the television and the conversation among the other patrons was pleasant enough that I could carry on a conversation with my date comfortably. Bernardo (sorry if I'm spelling your name wrong!) was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was able to take a peek at the member's only area when I made my way back to use the restroom - and it was incredible. The front lounge was equally as impressive. La Chaveta is a wonderful venue and I cannot recommend it enough! Thank you for graciously welcoming us into your place and making us feel welcome!

So much potential BUT needs a good overhaul. First and the most important thing ANY cigar lounge needs is good ventilation. This one is an eye burning smoke house. You can literally see the smoke hanging and your head. Second and this one isn’t that bad to most but they have a bar space area but don’t sell alcohol. Third the furniture is antique and heavily worn out. That with the dingy feel of the place can be a turn off. A couple cans of paint, a few ceiling fans and some new furniture and this would be a wonderful place to enjoy a cigar. Here are the good points; the owner is friendly and knowledgeable about cigars. They have a large selection to choose from with a huge emphasis on the Davidoff brand. Place is really large but most amenities are for members. They have about 100 lockers, a poker room, a pool table, 2-3 private areas, and a kitchen space, BUT it’s for members only. Overall it’s a good place, limited parking spaces and I would recommend you try it for yourself. Over the last three years I’ve been visiting cigar lounges around the country and this one isn’t a top 10 for me. They have a few others in the area, I’ll review later.

I loved how welcoming it was as soon as you walk in. I don’t know much about cigars, but they walked me through everything. The lounge itself is very relaxing. Mixture of people having conversations and people working with headphones. It’s a perfect place to retreat from the world for a little bit. Thank you La Chaveta for the hospitality!

La Cheveta is hands down the best cigar lounge I have found in Columbus. It has a relaxed and upscale vibe with a great atmosphere and friendly staff who really know their cigars. They are also the only lounge I have found in the city that carries Davidoff, which is a huge plus. I tried a cigar I had never had before and absolutely loved it. Comfortable seating, good ventilation, and a classy setup, this is definitely my go to spot whenever I am in town.

Did business with Mac, I’m a rookie when it comes to the cigar game, but Mac did me right. Went through some options with me and was able to settle for ones that would be fitting. Overall, I love the atmosphere in this place, super welcoming and didn’t feel like a stranger at all.Even was offered a personal lighter before heading out, which was a huge cherry on top. I will be coming here to hang out and have good vibesand Recommend it to friends as I could tell, they take care of the cigars there
