My favorite place to buy and smoke pipe tobacco. Bill is still blending and I’d strongly suggest fans of Virginia-Perique blends try Mist Upon the Water for a never-harsh and consistently darkly sweet and plummy flavor.

Best place in town to buy a pipe and cigars. The staff is helpful and they have a good selection to choose from. There's a lounge to sit and smoke. Downtown parking is challenging, but you already knew that.

New to Portland and really wanted to like this place for the history. Not welcoming at all. Was planning to sit down and enjoy on site but left. Bought 5 cigars came to 60.33 and I paid cash. I asked if he could do $60 even to save from breaking the 20 and he just responded rudely the total is 60.33. I was damn my bad for asking. Didn’t explain anything to me about the names of sizes or anything. Why work at a cigar store if your not into helping people

Great selection of cigars, including some rare finds. The staff may not seem very friendly at first, but don’t judge too quickly — they’re actually knowledgeable and happy to help you track down rare sticks you’re looking for.

Stopped in to grab a smoke. Bill asked what other sticks I enjoyed and he recommended a Padron 64. I grabbed a seat and chatted up a couple of regulars about the comings and goings of Portland. Great atmosphere for just enjoying a smoke and conversation. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I highly recommend this place.
