Packed on St. Patrick’s Day and still had quick service. Delicious food and beer, very cool staff and great music. This is a Portland favorite and the service in there is why!

I normally don’t like fried fish but i’m on the west cost, when in Rome, right? Fish and chips were excellent, prepared very well and the fries were crispy. The tartar sauce is very pickle-forward if that is in your flavor palette. My dad had the Reuben and it was equally delicious, came with some interesting pickles on the side, kind of sweet. Will have to come back for live music !
Had a lovely time at Kells. I’ve been going to the Seattle location for years knew it was a great time and brought my friends that were visiting from Seattle to this location, which is where we met the lovely owner Lucy, who was nothing but sweet and one of the greatest people I ever met seriously thank you to everyone there for making it such a wonderful time. We really appreciate it and will definitely be back. I will see you soon Miss Lucy.
Absolutely great food in Portland. Pulled up with the family around 6:30-7ish on Tuesday, July 24, 2026 and was seated immediately. After getting seated, we were giving menus and poured water. Our waiter soon came over to take drink orders. The Shirley temple I had was great. I got the burger and fries, mom and brother had fish and chips, and dad and twin had the lamb stew. We loved everything. Our server (who had a strong Irish accent; I don’t remember his name) was terrific. Percy also served us water, cleaned plates and cups up, and got us ketchup, etc. I recommend this place for anyone looking for some good Irish food in Portland!
Had dinner at Kell’s on December 13th. Ordered the Bangers and Mash which arrived at our table quite artistically arranged. I kid you not, this is how they arrived at our table. The artistry of it wasn’t quite realized until we started taking pictures of our food. I tried photographing from several different angles trying to make them not look quite so “artistic”. It turned out to not be possible. That being said, the food was wonderful!
