Oh boy. What a visit.....Felicia was an amazing showman. This was one of the first stops on our bar tour and it was very entertaining. If you want superior, professional service- this ain't your jam. If you want a custom, personal dressing down from someone who clearly enjoys her job. Stop on by.

Had such a fun time at Paddy’s! Katie was absolutely amazing—great service, super friendly, and made the whole experience even more fun. It’s a great bar with a fun, laid-back atmosphere and the perfect place to grab a drink and enjoy yourself while in downtown Philly. We had a blast and will definitely be back! 🍻🍀
Went here for the shirt which was super worth it. I loved this literal hole in the wall bar. The atmosphere was fun and the drinks were nice. Great place, would highly recommend especially if you’re an it’s always sunny fan😹
We were in New York for our honeymoon and wanted to visit Philadelphia for the day. This bar was the only thing I saw to do ahead of time, and walked from the old penitentiary to get there, before the bus back to New York. They wouldn't take my UK driving license. It's risky carrying around a passport (if that gets lost or stolen, you can't get home!), so as a rule don't do that. I've never had a problem getting into bars anywhere in the US with my driving license. They told us that there's a sign outside, but unfortunately we couldn't see that from an hour's walk away. Really disappointing. Oh...and it's definitely not state law (regardless of what other replies from the owner have said). According to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board "Nothing in the Liquor Code or the PLCB’s Regulations requires patrons to possess valid identification while on licensed premises." I don't drink. I wasn't planning on ordering alcohol. My husband doesn't usually drink alcohol when it's just us, so he's not drinking alone (although he has a CA driving license). So it would not have been against state law to allow us in the building and drink a non-alcoholic drink.
Top shelf place bursting at the seems with whimsy . Our barkeep, Felicia, was like an angel sent from heaven, fluttering up and down the bar serving her patrons like family. Never have i felt more warm and welcome. Her taste in music is only matched by her memorable adoring pet names for Frank. Spontaneously, she may even host a beer pouring class where she will bestow generations of Paddy’s knowledge perfecting the foam to beer ratio. While they’re still waiting on their Michelin star, fan favorite menu items such as frozen pizza and hot dog are not to be missed ! If you are in town with a busy list of 36 bars to visit , it’s worth it to make this #37!
