We just got delivery and the food is inedible. Wouldn’t feed this to my dog. Everything was Either burnt to a crisp or soggy. The pita was like cardboard. Sauce dumped all over the fries, but not on the sandwich. The chicken was sour as if it’s rancid. We’ve eaten here before and loved it but my gosh was this bad.

I come to this place occasionally a sometimes it’s good but sometimes and for the last time I get stuff like hair in my chicken picture attached all the way through. Hair in my rice or snout in the white sauce or undercooked chicken.

I hate to leave a bad review, especially since this is a small business with kind staff. However, the food was disappointing, the service was not as good as expected, and the restroom was hideous. Also, the mandatory 20% “gratuity” feels more like a disguised price hike than an actual gratuity. What if I’m not grateful to have spent more than $40 per person on a lousy dining experience? I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised, since this place also has a minimum spending of $20 per person on weekdays and $25 on weekends. I ordered the lamb kebob, which was over-cooked, chewy, and completely bland. The rice on the side was slightly better, but the drink I asked for was not. The “fresh” carrot juice literally tasted like old carrots were blended with water. It was so bad that I couldn’t drink it because the carrot pulp was painful to swallow, as it stuck to my throat. It was like drinking sand water. The best part— this “juice” is one of the most expensive beverages on the entire menu. You literally can’t make this up. At the end of the night, my group asked for to-go boxes to take the leftovers. The wait staff never brought them, even after we asked multiple times. In the end, I had to walk up to the front and ask for the to-go boxes because it appeared they’d completely forgotten. The owners of this establishment have no business being in the food industry.

If you’re looking for authentic middle eastern food with good portions and quality ingredients Maza is where you should order. Most entrees range from $17-$25. I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The server was also friendly and accommodating. I would definitely order from here again.

Tried the beef and chicken shawarma — both were fresh and delicious. Mafrooka dessert with hot tea was amazing. Highly recommend!
