lovely lounge with a variety of beverage choices and room for games. the humidor has some nice LE and heritage brands. Chad was super helpful locating other pipe tobacco places in town as a kind recommendation.

Really nice lounge area. Could use or turn on the ventilation more. Sat with a friend had a cigar or 2. The place had 4 other people in it and we were getting smoked out. Attendant/lounge professional seemed to be more interested in the video golf game, playing cards or watching TV. Bought a box of cigars and didn't even offer a discount for a box. I can say they have a great selection, but the prices are high.
The smoke hangs in the air like a secret everybody already knows. You walk into King's Leaf on Old Towne Road and the first thing that hits you isn't the cedar, it's the quiet permission the place gives you to sit the hell down. No hostess. No velvet rope. Just a deep, narrow room full of leather chairs that have been holding people's weight and their stories for a good while now. This is West Ashley's living room, and it knows it. King's Leaf opened this third location in 2019 and it wears its years honestly. The burgundy wingback by the window is cracked at the seams the way good leather should be, not neglected, just used. The drop ceiling has taken on that amber patina you get when a room has been doing its job. The walls are a patchwork testimony: Georgia Bulldogs championship banners next to Cohiba signage next to a "Flying Pig" cigar print that pops with turquoise. Cigar Aficionado issues fanned across the coffee tables, current enough to matter. I've been in lounges from Coral Gables to Midtown that want you to know how important they are. King's Leaf West Ashley doesn't do that. What it does is put 3,000 square feet at your disposal like pool table, darts, Golden Tee, cornhole, an Xbox nobody advertises but somebody clearly plays, and multiple TVs carrying whatever game needs carrying. The seating doesn't match and that's the point. The walk-in humidor is well-stocked with premium brands plus rotating boutique selections. Staff will guide you if you ask and leave you alone if you don't. Behind the bar: two coolers holding thirty-odd options including Rusty Bull Lager (Charleston local, for those keeping score), craft cans, and a few domestic standbys for the man who knows what he wants and doesn't need your opinion about it. Let me be honest, because a place this unpretentious deserves an unpretentious review. Ceiling tiles show their age. Back-half lighting is fluorescent and functional. This is a strip-mall unit, not a Charleston single house with gas lanterns. If you need your cigar experience to look like a magazine spread, go downtown where they've got a dress code and champagne. But if you want to smoke something good and sit with folks who don't need to perform relaxation because they're actually relaxed, this is where you come. Hours are shorter than you'd expect: noon to 8 PM weekdays, noon to 10 Friday-Saturday, noon to 8 Sunday. 21+. Don't let Google tell you 10 PM every night, that's weekends only. King's Leaf now has five Charleston-area locations, and this one feels most like it belongs to its neighborhood. It ain't trying to be a destination. It's trying to be the place you come back to on a Tuesday, which is harder and more better. Four and a half stars. The bones are good. The smoke is good. The company is your own damn business.
Great lounge with a modest humidor. Plenty of seating with Tvs. They have beer, wine, coffee and other refreshments for sale. Besides watching sports on the TV they also have a chessboard, pool table and video games. They also have a kitchen but not sure what is for sale. As well there was one person smoking a hukka pipe but again I'm not sure if that is also offered here. Safe Travels
King's leaf cigar lounge is excellent. Very nice humidor. Great selection of cigars and beers. The service was top notch. The "regulars" were friendly and inclusive. Spent a couple of hours after dinner at Rue de Jean.
