Great atmosphere and a beautiful setting. The scenery, décor, and overall vibe make it a dope spot to relax and enjoy a cigar. Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re in Charleston.

The location was great. The greeter was a bit intrusive and the instructions for etiquette seemed like a warning. The humidor was proper and the cigar selection was decent however the cigars were $8-$15 more than other lounges. The atmosphere did not encourage lively conversion. As a Black person I did not appreciate the oversized portrait of Confederate General Robert E. Lee that the Black staff member seemed to be comfortable speaking about however when I asked him what was the symbolism of the whip and pie in the portrait of a Gullah Geechie man he gave me a sanitized response that minimized the portraits symbolic significance to slavery and oppression. I would not return and I would not recommend the place to other Black people.

This cigar lounge is pretty cool. It offers a quaint setting without a lot of loud televisions or music blaring. They have a large selection of cigar choices with staff that is knowledgeable and can offer up suggestions for those not sure what to purchase. There is an option for drinks and coffee with staff who are helpful in every way. For the gambler, there is poker and for the deep thinker, chess is available. This place is really great and our first time here, but we’ll definitely be back!

The lounge itself has potential, but my overall experience was just average. The greeting when I walked in felt a little odd and came across as more creepy than welcoming, which made for an uncomfortable first impression. Throughout my visit, the atmosphere also felt pretty standoffish. Instead of feeling relaxed and invited to enjoy a cigar, it seemed like it was difficult to break into the existing crowd. The selection was decent, and the lounge has the makings of a great spot, but customer service and creating a more welcoming environment would go a long way. I might give it another try in the future, but I hope the overall vibe becomes more friendly and inviting.

I've been to cigar lounges all over the country, and this one has a fantastic lounge and an excellent cigar selection. The reason I'm leaving four stars instead of five comes down to the difference in my experiences over two consecutive days. On my first visit, I was helped by Gary. He was very strict about the rules, extremely rigid, and just didn't come across as welcoming. I completely understand that every lounge has rules and they should be enforced, but the overall interaction felt uncomfortable and honestly a little odd. It wasn't the kind of atmosphere I expect when visiting a cigar lounge. The next day I came back and Chas was working, and it was a completely different experience. He was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. It reminded me why I enjoy spending time at cigar lounges in the first place. Interestingly, while I was there on the second day, another customer mentioned having a similarly strange experience with the employee from the previous day, so it didn't seem like I was the only one who felt that way. The lounge itself is excellent, and I'll definitely be back because the atmosphere, selection, and setup are top-notch. I just think the Friday experience could turn away more first-time customers than it retains, which is unfortunate because the lounge deserves to succeed.
