Id never buy snacks or any food there the way the place looks, but that's fine. Its a tobacco shop. I get beer or vape products there. I've been there at least a few dozen times. Its not the closest to me, but their coolers are always very cold, and I've never had an issue with any employee. Then I go in the other day, and the manager lady is on the register. Kendall, or something like that. Think she drives the little toy car always parked out front. She has never rung me up before. I go to pay with my debit card, like ive done time after time after time out there. She tries to stop me to tell me to tap the card. But my tap function almost never works, so I never use it. Anywhere. When I proceed to use my card like I ALWAYS do on their card reader, she throws her pen on the counter and says "why won't people listen". Then proceeds to tell me I just locked up her register. Now look, I've never had a problem with any other cashier at this store. I have never locked up any of their registers by swiping my card that exact same way. In fact, im always in and out with a thank you and have a good day. Maybe she doesn't understand their own register properly, maybe she had a bad day. Whatever the case, if you could have been me and seen the way she acted through out the process, heard the way and tone she spoke to me in, I think a lot of people wouldn't have held their tongues the way I did. She criticized me for not using my card the way she wanted, she criticized me for not "listening", she criticized me for locking up her register. I don't go to public service locations to be spoken to in that manner. In the end I told her to keep it, and I would go someplace else. Which I guess made her mad cause she yelled at me as I left. I would give this place one star or less even, but that feels unfair because everyone else I've dealt with have always been just fine towards me. Im not asking a cashier to be my best friend. But I'm an adult, im not going to let someone speak to me in that manner, over nothing! The fact that she has some kind of authority position there is what led me to post this review. I haven't been back, and I won't be. She surely doesn't care anyways, but she should be kept far away from the customer base.

Be careful if you buy cigarettes from here! Kendall definitely needs a career change. You shouldn't cuss your customers just because you walk in the store same exact time that coke drops off a delivery. I was finishing my $10 per pack cigarettes she had a huge problem with it! She wanted to rip my face off she said😂😂😂😂 she can definitely try 🥳🥳 Walgreens across the street is cheaper anyway🥳 After reading some of these reviews lately, Kendall definitely needs a career change, after the way we cussed each other this morning she needs a crash course in her customer service skills

I have shopped here many times since it opened. It has always been a fine experience… until today. I was there to purchase dip pouches for my husband. I asked the cashier for the kind he usually gets. The manager lady then corrected me on how to pronounce the name of dip pouches. (Velo) which was fine. That didn’t bother me. Then when I asked for the 9mg cans, she proceeds to say “they don’t make it in 9mg”. Mind you, I buy these for my husband all the time. And I could see them right in front of me. 9mg. So I was kind of confused when she said that. So I politely responded and said “I usually get it in 9mg”. Then she loudly says “you must think I’m dumb or something. I order them everyday. They don’t come in 9mg. They come in 4,6, and 8mg”. So after she finishes being snarky, I simply said “I can see the 9mg cans right there” and I pointed. She turns around and her attitude completely changes. She says “ohhh! I thought you were talking about these.” As she’s pointing to a completely different brand (and packaging). Which was obviously a lie because she initiated the conversation by correcting my pronunciation of the brand, and she was touching the velo cans on the shelf. By this point the cashier is embarrassed and apologized for her manager being rude and wrong. People make mistakes, I’m not upset about that. But for her to get an attitude and raise her voice to say “you must think I’m dumb.. blah blah”… it was uncalled for. If I would of been rude first, I would understand. But I was not. I was nice and polite. Very poor behavior and customer service on her part. I’d assume that she is the reason that they can’t keep steady employees. Shameful.
