I really like this place they have things to sell I want to buy

This place is pretty dope and the staff is chill. Plus convenient when your downtown.

Used to like coming here, I worked down the street so I was a regular and I probably spent about $150 a week here if not more, but recently service has gone down hill alot, and the employee I encountered today was especially rude. I'd rather walk an extra 2 blocks and go to the smoke shop on congress, they have better prices and they actually appreciate their regulars. Safe to say I won't be spending any more money at caterpillar. Normally id give them a second chance because I've been spending $500 or more per month there since 2023 but the employee tonight went out of his way to be rude and confrontational so ill be taking my buisness elsewhere from now on (and saving money because everything at caterpillar is extremely overpriced). Ill be telling my customers and co workers to go elsewhere from now on aswell.

The manager Wayne answered all my questions, and was super helpful. Great shop, and I would definitely come back when I’m in Austin.

They closed 3.5 hours early on 1/19/25 due to... cold weather? I got the name of the store clerk who was working at the time, just in case the owners are interested.
