Would not recommend had the worst experience here. Service is expensive and product is bad

Was out of town looking for a place with some good afrobeats music. That's about the only thing that was good. There was an inconsistent cover charge. Additionally, $30 cover fee for a place like this makes no sense, I was literally one of the first 10 people there. The door staff seems to know its a hustle too.
I’ve been here a couple times with friends and overall it has not been the best experience. The entry fee is inconsistent each time and seems to go up more every visit. The amount you pay $20-30 to get in does not even feel right given the atmosphere of the venue. The drinks are limited as well as space and seating. Sections are ridiculously priced for a diner booth and a bottle of cheap tequila or dark liquor. Hookah is OK but that’s if they even bring it to you. DJ only knows 10 songs and nothing else. Don’t even get me started on the food trucks outside. They will have you waiting for 30+ minutes getting blown with grill smoke and bronchitis for some overcooked, greasy meat and dried out “jollof” rice. And you’ll be paying for it the morning after. Austin has many other after hours and afro beats clubs that are more than worth the time you could spend here.
Nadash, the hookah attendant, was incredibly helpful in selecting the perfect flavors for my hookah. The service was impressively fast, and the atmosphere was fantastic with Afro beats, reggae, and hip hop music. It's also a BYOB spot! I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend asking for Nadash.
Visited for the first time. Place is nice. Great service. Good Music and smooth hookah! However it did not start popping till like 2am. And the vibe was amazing. You got to try the suya ( spicy grilled beef) and chicken at the door. Would have given 5 starts but the coal replacement was a little slow.
