I went to Mila Uptown for a DJ night, and unfortunately, I will not be returning. Parking is already difficult, and it seems inconsistent whether valet is available or not. However, the main reason for my one-star review is because of what happened when I ordered a drink. I ordered one tequila drink that was $15. With tax, the total came to $16.50. I gave the bartender a $20 bill and asked for a receipt. When I looked at the receipt, it showed a $1.50 tip added, even though it did not say “automatic gratuity” anywhere — it simply listed it as a tip. On top of that, I was never given my remaining change back. If my total was $18 after the tip, I should have still received $2 back. Instead, the bartender kept the full $20 without saying anything. That is not okay. A bartender should not add their own tip and then also keep the customer’s change without permission. This is exactly why I use cash and ask for receipts at places like this. Customers should not have to worry about whether their money is being handled honestly. Whether this is a staff issue or a business practice, it needs to be addressed because this should never be considered normal at any restaurant or bar. I felt ripped off, and because of that, I will not be returning.

I went for a Rodeo Cowboy event so I'm not sure how much of this was their regular operations but the venue was oversold so half of us that purchased tickets in advance were seated outside even though we got there early enough to get a seat inside. There were so many people it was standing room only and very uncomfortable to try and move around anywhere to the restroom or bar. The drinks were ridiculously priced with auto-gratuity to boot even though you had to stand there waiting 20-30min for a drink. We got there around 8:30. The doors opened at 9 and you still had to wait until 11 for the show to start. There are no in and outs so you are stuck there waiting STANDING AROUND for hours for the show to start with nothing but expensive poorly mixed drinks. Parking is abysmal if you can't get in the little parking lot behind the building. We actually gave up and left before the show even started. There was no real structure. It was hot, over crowded, drinks were a splash of liquor for $20+ and no food. Definitely wouldn't recommend if any of that is business as usual.

This place hosted the Queens Rodeo tour, the PR person need to be educated, there was no place for the guys on the tour to dance. This location was way to small for an event like this. I expected to see all the guys perform on a stage but they could not move around in the venue due to too many ladies that had paid over 60.00 to see a show. I didn't have any food and couldn't experience the service. I was there for a show that I didn't get a chance to see.
