I stopped by Murphy USA in Denison tonight and had a disappointing experience. My total was $11.70 and I attempted to pay with a sealed bank roll of quarters, a $1 bill, and the remaining change. The cashier told me they could not accept coin rolls. When I mentioned that this had never been an issue before, the employee simply repeated the same line again without any explanation or acknowledgment. They never looked up from their phone, did not greet me, and did not offer any alternative such as opening the roll and counting the quarters. The roll was a fresh, sealed bank roll from the bank, not loose sticky car change. I completely understand if there is a policy about not accepting coin rolls. However, basic customer service goes a long way. A greeting, eye contact, or even a short explanation would have made the interaction feel much more respectful. I hope management looks into this and reminds staff that professionalism and courtesy toward customers still matter. For now I’ll likely just stop at another Murphy USA location and hope for a more professional interaction. No customer should feel like an inconvenience for simply trying to make a purchase.

Be careful when using this gas station with your work uniform on because they go immediately racially profile you and then call your Job They have a track record of doing this to African-American people. All you gotta do is read the past reviews and when you reach out to the corporate office, they not go respond. They not even go Care and they not go stop this from happening. But I’m gonna let them know I’m always go choose my rights over any job uniform it’s like are you serious? How do you get to keep a customer gas money and don’t give them their gas and then think you got the right to call the police and Someone’s job wow

I have been going here for years, but I will never ever ever go back a couple of weeks ago. I went. It was freezing cold outside, and the girl inside was scanning cigarettes and said it’ll be a minute she just kept scanning and scanning and scanning so I left the next morning. I stop in on my way to work and she was outside with a delivery and the guy told her that I was there and she said I overheard her say I’m busy and then when I stuck my head around there and she saw me she goes. Oh it’ll be a little bit. So I left very disappointed and very upset about all of this. This used to be one of my favorite places to go to.

Gas is cheap. Service isn't great. If you are in a hurry just grab gas elsewhere and pay ¢.10 more because they aren't concerned about you.
