Be aware of a small yt man with light brown long messy hair who wears a bandana/hat. I frequent this shop as I live right next to it, and always paid without issue either with cash OR with debit even when I didn’t meet the $5 minimum (I was told it’s not an issue multiple times). But the day this worker worked I tried to pay with card again, he told me it wasn’t allowed here. I told him I could show him proof I pay this way all the time. He accuses me of being “confused” and was scary unprofessional. I showed him proof from my transactions FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT that I always pay via debit card with no issue, & of course he didn’t like being proven wrong, as he remained flustered and angry. I left and a week later went to a Different Mr.Smoke (on Westiemer I believe) I walked in, asked for what I wanted, immediately remembered who he was and tried my best to quickly get in and out PAYING CASH. He stared at me once I get to the register & asks if he met me before, I respond by reminding him of when I proved him wrong about paying with my debit card at the dairy Ashford location, & mention I need to get change for this transaction. As I’m walking out, he says “we don’t have a lot of cash to give back” And I respond with “I’m just getting exact change…. Don’t need cash?” I walk back in and he says, change isn’t the word it’s usually called COINS ???????????? OBVIOUSLY an angry & easy to anger person who shouldn’t be working in customer service. I say back, “dude I’m really not in the mood for semantics and drama again with you please just check me out.” He slaps my ID on the counter and tells me to get out! Ridiculous! I’ve been told he is rude to other customers as well. Please rectify this issue if possible, and just to note, I would’ve been perfectly OK with paying cash our first interaction HAD HE JUST EXPLAINED NICELY TO DO SO! That’s clearly not in him.
